La Festival d'été de Quebec
If there is a time to visit Quebec City, the summer is definitely it. With 300 shows, 10 venues, and 11 days of music, La Festival d'été de Quebec has established itself as one of Canada's largest music festivals.
Each year at the beginning of July, more than 150,000 people from all over the country come together in historic Old Quebec to view live performances by both international stars and emerging artists. The main venue, the historic Plains of Abraham, has seen big names such as Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi, The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, Bryan Adams, Elton John, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, and many more.



Old Quebec
Filled with historical landmarks, Old Quebec is the place to be for any tourist who wants a taste of what Quebec City was like in the olden days. The horse-drawn carriages, street entertainers, and friendly atmosphere all add to the European charm.
Winter Carnival
Held annually from January 30th to February 15th, the Quebec City Winter Carnival is the biggest one in the world. It is packed with an abundance of fun activities. With everything from ice canoe races to snow sculptures to the famous ice palace, the Quebec Winter Carnival has it all.
Château Frontenac
Built by William Van Horne in the late 19th century, Château Frontenac is the most photographed hotel in the world. Is a grand hotel with stunning architecture that dominates Quebec City's skyline. It is located in the Upper City of Old Quebec, a historical neighbourhood in the city.
The Château overlooks Cap Diamant, and extends along Terrasse Dufferin, a beautiful terrace along the St. Lawrence River.



Plains of Abraham
The Plains of Abraham is a park in Quebec City with outstanding value, and is the historical site of many clashes for supremacy, including the 1759 Conquest between the French and British Empires. There is a vast 103 hectares of meadow for visitors to enjoy
Notre-Dame de Quebec
Notre-Dame de Quebec is a lavish historic church with stunning architecture that is located at 20, Rue de Buade. Throughout the centuries, it has been destroyed twice by fire.
